The Jewish Project is a portrait of a Jew through ice cream and storytelling. Jared Goodman weaves personal stories of being a Jew with Jewish history and culture, exploring themes of identity, secularism vs traditionalism, the writings of Isaac Bashevic Singer and Abraham Joshua Heschel, plus some klezmer music too. Pairing storytelling with handmade and inspired ice cream desserts, he aims to combat the spread of anti-Semitism and share Judaism and Jewishness with Oregonians.

Each performance has tickets available for those who want to attend but cost is a barrier. Please contact Jared at info@morgansttheater.com for any questions.

Our ice cream is made from scratch using locally-sourced and high quality ingredients. What better way to showcase Oregon's bounty of dairy and agriculture, than through ice cream!  Our traditional custard-style ice cream has a high butterfat-content, that is flavor-forward and not overly sweet.

You can find our high-quality ice cream at our dessert theatre pop-ups, Feb-August; and from Spring through Fall at our ice cream tricycle, the Pedal Parlor. Visit us and find flavors inspired by childhood memories and what's in season, and always made with love. We do not use corn syrup, plant-based stabilizers or chemical emulsifiers.  All of our flavors are gluten-free, and vegan options are available upon request.
